It's alright. The pixel stretch could do some changing. Try doing it in a distorted way so it looks like mist...With that done it would look pretty kick-ass..

Try to blend in the sword-field in the backround, it just sticks out too mich because of the hard edges.

Try this, I just made it. Experiment a bit with the mode and some of the scattering effects till you get something that satisfies you.
Its pretty self-explanatory, but if you need assistance just let me know.

i got 1 question, how come you have the whole brush manager thing, like you can set brush spacing and other customization for your brush...i cant find that in my photoshop, its CS2
