The CS Server is currently down, the reason is still unknown, I have zero details on what happened, I don't know what I will do yet since I don't know what I have to do and I don't know where anything is. This is just a notice letting you know that I'm aware the servers down and have absolutely zero answers for you.

The answer is easy if you logged into the hosting account i provided for you.:confused::confused::confused: Darkstar wants money, and, you and i had spoken about some things regarding the CSS hosting, but you never come to me to discuss them. You did not ask me to renew the account, you did not come to talk to me about what we spoke about, you barely speak to me as is.:confused:


Perhaps you should contact me more often about things rather then when you have a problem. I wanted to sponsor you and work with you and provide some sort of direction so that you no longer had to rely on a larger hosting company to survive, not just be treated like a hosting company, and I definitely don't like to be take advantage of, you just seem more interested in the fact that I hosted everything for free for the past few months with little or no conversation on the future plans.

Wow just in time for the long weekend. I knew something fishy was up when all the daily awards but two, were won by BOTs, and some were not even awarded. Oh well.
I saw Bucket Head's comment too. Maybe it can all get worked out. As far as Ciar goes that was only one person. He is rude to everyone, and more rude to you if he likes you. She struck a cord when she made a comment in reply to his usual bantering. He over reacted. The name calling and cheap-shotting is part of the LN "mystic". I agree that the outside the server activities were totally uncalled for, and I told him so. I hope we can all move on.

seriously though, buckhead, i'm not sure whats going on between you and gdr and that is your business. i have heard a little about a certain someone being less then cordial to another certian someone that seems to have made you very angry and you probably have every right to feel that way. however, if i were you i wouldn't generalize and the whole ln community for the actions of one person (or even a few). i can definitely say that shamp (among others) tries to squash anything that gets out of line. i just want you to know that it's not a whole group of people ganging up on one person. doesnt mean you shouldn't be pissed, but i dont want you to think it's everone. most people just want to play and have fun :)

As for the issue that shamps touched on

I find it disconcerting that an admin is allowed to promote such asshattery. I understand and love what you guys are founded on, but, I would assume there is a clearly defined line as to how far you can take things. You managed not to just chase out one person, but a majority of the members of my community that were playing and would have played on the LN server. They all now question why I help your community. Remember people talk, and word of mouth is the best form of free advertising you can ever ask for. I try to get members of my community to play on your server as often as i get the chance, but now, your reputation precedes you, but not necessarily the reputation you want. Rather then that of a "no holds barred" "anything goes" community (which is 1337), but that of a group of "lusers" akin to 4chan and the "anon movement;" causing a problem just to cause a problem for a specific person, and get your epic lulz. (which is an "epic failure") I know this isent the case, your more intelligent then that, that's why i wanted to get involved and help you guys out, but you make it really hard for me to be able to stand firm when one of my staff members is singled out by one of your admins.


as for if its a whole group or one person.

Come on. When an admin for a group of people steps out of line it reflects on everyone below them. Your admin should uphold the respect and reputation of the community as a whole. There's a fine line between having harmless fun and going out of your way to cause someone problems.

I dont know the details but from what i heard all i can say is this. You think a "no bar holds" or whatever is leet but you complain when it is enacted. such as on the server and in the forums. what i understand is someone is mad at being made fun of and what not yet it is allowed as per said in the motd and on the forum rules. but like i said before i do not know details just what i heard. i have been away for a while and will be again soon.

Buckethead - I agree with you. I know none of this is up to me, but my opinion (as a member of this community) is that all bullshit be kept to gaming and the forums. When it leaves one of those mediums and enters RL, I think that's going way over the line. It's pretty much accepted that anything goes on the forums and in game, that's what most people like about LN, but beyond that it's just uncalled for and quite frankly, creepy.
