Recent Problems with Lag.

Within the last two weeks i've experience heavy lag even now when it's not x5, I'll be walking and within 8 squares i'll pause for a second and enemies can hit me from about 8 squares away also. This also happens when riding on my motorcycle especially making it useless to ride on it.

As far as I can tell this isn't a problem on my part:
My ISP checks out fine, Testing it online gets me a 500kb/sec which is very healthy especially for a game like darkeden. When pinging Darkeden i get some kind of horrible ratio which results around 400ms.

My PC is fine, It's not a technically problem by any sort since my PC isn't the one slowing down so i don't see how it's effecting it.

This leads me to believe it has to be Sever side, Perhaps they have something against my ISP or IP who knows.

Until this lag thing is fixed I won't be playing DE, If it lasts until March 9th then i won't be returning to DE for good.

If this doesn't apply/matter to you then don't reply unless you can post something helpful that doesn't cross over what i just stated.

This is really for the CO GMs that visit this or anyone with technical know how.

He just said his ISP was fine. I'm seriously fed up with people shutting their eyes to the fact the DE server is piece of shit.

We're not all from third world countries with poor infrastructure.

I have been experiencing the exact same battery of symptoms a few times myself, though not as often as in the past.

I think servers laggy becouse they sanding on the same IP adress (203.121.180.144).

hello, I just conducted the test Pink did a while back, pinging all thai servers. Learn.in.th Darkeden.in.th and 203.121.180.144 which is the same thing. They all had the same average ms per ping, so I see no kinds of lag that DarkEdenTh is responsible for. Yes, I'll agree our server does have problems, especially during peak hours. But as of me checking right now all checks are ok. I also did a 5 minute ping to the darkeden server and every single packet returned, none were lost.

While I enjoy darkeden some i won't go to the Extreme of getting a new ISP since my ISP is completely and more than enough for a simple game like darkeden. Why would i give up a connection that has 500kb/sec on everything except Darkeden? This is why i'm nearly 100% sure it's Darkedens Sever side issue, Seeming to effect some people.

I just pinged Darkeden and got a 350ms response time which is a increase since last time.

While i asked for nobody to respond in a way to tell me it's my PC or ISP i thank you for reading it :|.

I'm glad to see other people experience this issue also, If everything runs great except Darkeden then it suggests Darkeden is the issue and nothing else. Ofcourse i could be mistaken and it could be Nprotects fault but Nprotect doesn't usually cause this kind of lag.

I've yet to check today but i will shortly since i just got home from work, Hopefully this issue isn't as bad.

Update, Seems a ping around 350 results in little lag and no movement lag at all, Anything over 400 is when the problems start.

See what i don't understand is this:
I can ping www.darkeden.com (http://www.darkeden.com) and get an average of 150ms
When i ping www.darkeden.in.th (http://www.darkeden.in.th) i get an average of 400ms with ping loss time to time.

What i don't understand is We pay for this service why?
