2. Unpack the attached file and overwrite all existent files on it.

Don't worry, there's a plan to start a new exp rate everyday very soon. We are just giving priority for server and bugs issues atm

Use Winrar ( google it) then simply extract all the files into the folder named ''info''

just go check out grades and all resistance items or any resistance items infact they used to be resistance of bloody etc now they should be blood resistance

just look at your items, they should now have a number after them (1-10) instead of a thai symbol thing. also some of the skill names are different, for ousters, ring of player should now be ring of flare, for slayers (healer) create holly otion is now create holy potion.

Attached to this post you will find a ENGLISH PATCH fix for Darkeden Thailand.

Version 1 issues fixed:

- Items Grades now will appear

- Options Descriptions fixed ( ex: All Registance now appears as All Resistance )
- Items names fixed ( ex: Sinui$% Pendant now appears as Siniu's Pendant )
- Resist Options fixed ( ex: resistance to bloody now appears as Blood Resistance )
- Skills names fixed ( ex: Soul reverse now appears as Soul Rebirth )

Version 2 issues fixed:

- Player details modified to fit info windows ( ex: Unmodified STR will appear as Pure STR )
- Ousters items fixed ( ex: spider eyes ring will appear as Spider Eyes Ring )
- Modified some NPC spelling ( ex: I want to bye items, now appear as I want to buy )
- Premium account details now shown correctly ( "Premium" instead "Pemieum" )
- Pet Food informations corrected ( translated from Thai to English )

And other minor bugs.

How to install:

1. Go to your C:\DARKEDEN\DATA\INFO and make a full backup of all files
2. Unpack the attached file and overwrite all existent files on it.
3. Have fun.

OK, I DLed it, I got WinRar, and I extracted the files, then I installed it, but it doesn't seem to work, anyone know what could be wrong?

I went into the folder and copy Pasted over the old info stuff, what I did origenally was just put the folder inside of the other.

now it works

Steps:

Download file to where ever (Desktop)
Right click on file > Extract to desktop/info
Close winRAR
Click info folder on desktop
Ctrl+A (select all)
Ctrl+C (copy)
Close info folder
Go to Darkeden folder (Use search if you have to)
Click Darkedenth (possibly renamed)
Click data folder in darkedenth(^)
Click info folder in data folder
Ctrl+V (paste)
Window will come up, Replace "insert" with "insert"
Click yes to all.
Finished.

Seems to be an issue when people locate DarkedenTh folder else where from C:\

If you have an issue please state the problem to make it easier.

another bug (nothing major). on the 4th quest where you have to collect pieces of the clay doll, the pieces used to be called part of clay doll 1-12, now they are just called part of clay doll. its annoying when you only need one piece and you have to pick up every piece just to see if its the one you need :p

I think that letter at level 40 is the one that lets you get a new pet; tanks, bats and... The Ouster... Thing (Fairy?).
But Thai doesn't have those yet because they're cheap bastards so it crashes the game when you open it... :(

There is no full english patch. But there is the one put together by former GM pink, which is at the start of this thread.

Thiswill conatin all the latest patches that have been around.

Pinks and another one that updated some vamp stuff and added item value numbers at the end of the item name.

All you'll need to do is unzip it in your root directory as i'll store the folders.

Mind this is for DE Thai

Sorry it doesn;t extract with 100% full path.

so extract this directory to

DarkEdenTh/Data/

Then say yes to overwrite the files.

If your worried it's a virus or something then back up your directory

Copy the folder
DarkEdenTh/Data/Info
To your desktop or somethign so you can paste it back if omething goes wrong.

But the files clean as far as I know no viri here on this PC.
Someon else can validate by all means.
