Yes New Orleans is a grat city but since tha fact that they knew all along that if "the big one" hit that it would be flooded like it is now.. well the only thing that i can guess is that if they do rebuild it then they need to destroy the entire city or alteast the part that had the worst flooding and raise those parts of it so when another big hurricane hits(*Crossing fingers* hopefully not) that the damage wont be as bad.
Anyway tell me what you think about should they rebuild new orleans?

You know, as much as I would love for it to be restored, it's just unrealistic. We lost one of the oldest and most cultural cities in the US, and it can never be replaced. Now people will need to rent movies to see what it used to be like.
In other words, I wish we could, but no, we never could.

well the french quarter is fine didnt even get damage or atleast no flooding, but about 20% of hte city didnt get flooded or get alot of damage.

20% of a city that large is not a lot...
It's still never going to be as it was, sadly enough.

What a question. Do people still own the land within New Orleans? Irrespective of it's current state of repair? Yes, so naturally it will be rebuilt. The only real question is whether or not the Government will fund efforts to raise the ground level higher to prevent future similar situations.
