which is a better mmorpg to play(D2 not included)?
1. WoW(World of Warcraft)
2. GW(Guild Wars)
3. GTH(Gates to Heaven)
4. DE(Dark Eden,all versions[int, thai,etc.])
5. BM(Blade Mistress)
6. other(not listed above)
in my opinion i think that GTH is a good game to play granted its in beta right now but the GM's actaully fix any problems as they come up.
when i played WoW i liked but it reminded me of W3 with the same characters.
DE to me just plain sucks.
BM and GW never played em.

yeah same here, besides i dont think that SH will ever be less or even gone cuz i think once it came into DE it will stay in DE only because the Gm's dont give a shit and neither does gameguard who supposedly is a anti-hacking program.....pfft yeah right.
the only reason why i didnt vote for GW is because i have never played it so i really cant vote for my favorite MMORPG when i havent played it.

I'd have to go with the 2 classics from blizzard, starcraft and diablo(2), starcraft since i love how large a game is with such little space, i mean like roleplaying and such, and with diablo(II), let me say something, whomever insults it, never saw life.

ur kewl man but not that kewl... D2 is way fooking awsome. The music... nothing has come even close to the musick,ambience and perfection in relation to the enviroment. nothing has come close to the play control... the speed at which you can play the game... the character selection in D2 was top notch and only 10 folded with the exp. yeah the graphics suck now, shame, and GW does have some simularities, but I bet you that whenever D3 comes out it'll blow everything else clear aside. it's not just a jump on the bandwagon thing man... However i can see your point... not everyone can appreciate the finer arts ^^

yeah i like D2 as well but it got boring for me cuz i kept beating it on Closed B.net and open B.net. single player doesnt count cuz if you have beaten open B.et then youve beaten single player cuz the game layout is the same, i mean you an use hacks and shit with single player and open B.net.

Diablo was to stupid in my opinion its WAY too easy to get haks for it(Bobbafett Trainer[My personal choice]) but diablo2 theres bit more restrictions on hacking since they put closed B.net for multiplayer. besides D2 pwns D1 totally more classes more areas more skills and definitely better graphics. lemme go look to see if they have any info whether or not D3 is even coming out.

I would say Lineage2 (3d) is pretty good depending on what patch you use. Lots of hardwork and very time consuming.

Lol who says i pay. I just find a hosting site that distributes patches...i download the patch..over write some stuff inside of the lineage2 folder and baddabing! Theres many different servers out there...over 100

i just looked at the size of the client unless you wanna wait for 1.88GB to D\L then it probably better to spend like 30 bucks on the game or burn a copy from someone who has it.

Well what i done was download the client off of the real site lineage2.com then found sites that were hosting patches....for example: www.deviantrealms.com as well there are tons others i downloaded the patch which i wanted. extracted into the lin2 folder and thats how it went =D I would show a ss of the game but i haven't figured out how to do that yet on here =/

Print Screen key when you want to capture, then open an imaging program such as photoshop or paint. Hit control+v and save.

Um...no. If they ripped off anything, it was Diablo 2, but that's because the same group of people make both games. GW is often considered D3.

D2 was the first generation of MMORPG. Think about it:
GW vs. D2
In GW, all players gather in a town and create a party to do missions with. In D2, players gather in the chat channels and join games with each other, creating a party of such. Then, once in game, that party plays the missions together. It's actually rather similar.

As for people who want to try out Lin2 and are/is stuck..
1) Download the game client off of the main www.lineage2.com site
2) Find one of the servers you would like to play on IE: www.DeviantRealms.com
3) Make sure to register an account
4) Lastly choose the Patch You'd like to play on...IE:Alexandria
and um...thats all. If somehow you still mangage to get lost your an idiot *shrugs* :D

true, the races seem different, but then again... you're one person and how many games could one person possible play per day for any length of time...I"m kinda like stick with a game until it's totally dead and you've done everything or at least possible by finance stadards(as in the case of gimmie all ur money and we .. miiiightt let you have some stuff Dark eden thai), or the hacks get bad. Runescape sucks, it's one of the eaiest games I've seen that can be hacked.

lol about Lin2 though i went to a military exchange(deptartment store, basically) and i saw Lin2 dvd edition for 20 bucks but the normal cd was like 30 bucks..i was like wtf a special edition costs less who the fuck made the prices on this. but GW was like 50 bucks still so i said fuck it i'll wait. lol but i almost bought Lin2 but then i thought what am i goin to play it on since my laptop is waiting for parts.

every game is hackable, you just have to know what to do, the master of all master may be able to do it, you can't say it's an unhackable game, in the future, it can and probably will be hacked, when d2 started, everyone thought it was unhackable, now there's map hack everywhere!
