i like metallica but not there new stuff but there old stuff like sandman and old songs like that the new stuff sucks from a Metallica fan stand point and honestly i've talked to other ppl and they said the samne thing. i mean the St.Anger Album had some decent song sbut nothing really rally good like the way they used to play in the old days. i know that they are a old band but still the ycould atleast try to remix Brick in the wall lie korn did which btw made the song even worse the original is hard to beat unless the song just really sucked. like they should remix the song "We will Rock you" by queen for some movie or something.

same with most bands that been kicking it around for a while! I never cared for metallica that much.well to be honest i never took the time bother checking em out maybe coz shit like this aint main stream over here so u dont know about it till someone tells u about it or u stumble upon it! I have heard of em but not heard the music except for the MI2 theme tune which i just found out when i googled em and it wernt that bad. maybe ill take a closer look when i get home!!

Used to owned the original "kill 'em all" the one with bliztkreig, and I think creeping death on it. (though I think creeping death was on the "ride the lighting" tape) Anywho... let this geeko needing a rod through ees mofo head, "borrow" the tape so that he may "learn the vocals" well... ee plainy told me look my "peice of crap" tape player ate it.... I was like" WDF... you moron... well he didn't last long in the band. Luckily I recored bliztkreig and have it on digital now. But that wasn't the original recorded they did one ( many blackmarket low quality) called garage days, not the garage days revisited one waaaaayyy before that one. Well they just lost me after loaded/unloaded or whatever... Some of it was good but it just got to slow and boring for me. Same with megadeath, I liked rust in peice, holy wars, youthenasia or whateva album a few others that one when clinton was being elected.... anywho... life goes on...then Korn came around. I heard once like when Korn was new they where opening for Metallica and like Korn was big fan of metallicas... they where like all humble and wanted to hang with them... well metallica was liek.... bah.. we gotz betta things to do.. so they left... now look at em....I don't even think jason's(bass player) with them. i saw them on MTVh1 doing some recording , like a "real life" show... they where argueing and crap...see waht happens when ya getz to big for ur drawers??

Same here their old stuff rocked but their new stuff is alright too just can't get into it the same. Maybe the era...their era passed so it cannot be the same anymore.

thas and there what 50+ old now not to say that they cant still get out a good song every now and then, but not to say that they should stop making songs but honestly they are like the beach boys (50s-60s, i think) of the 70s-present.
