Anyone know what the reason Counter Strike Source is so addictive??
Prly cause there's no other real life gun games out there... I wanna see somethin' new..

CS:S aint addictive its just that there isnt any other game out that rivals it right now in its genre. TFC is part of Half Life so I don't count that one.

Both TFC and CS are Half-Life mods (CS:S & TF2 are HL2 mods), and both are (or are soon to be) bundled and/or sold separately. So if you don't count one, you can't really count the other either, lol.

I thought it was addicting, until recently..i also though WoW was addicting...until recently, now im just like...blah and dont feel like playing anything any more. I basically have to force myself to get on CSS just cause im hoping i can get re-addicted lol, its sort of boring without it....weird situation.

Thats how I felt before I got VAC'ed, the first and second time, rofl. It's like "I don't feel like playing, but I'm that bored that I'm going to force myself to play this shitty game" =(

oh yeah GDR the account that i won on that contest can be given to someone else since i never got it to work but i guess you already figured that part out already when i bought the game.
maybe this should go into a PM to GDR. :/

It's simply that no other games are really like CS:S. Granted there are many many shooters out there, but few give you the feel of control. Being able to pinpoint a single bullet for an AK or M4, being able to shoot someone's skull to pieces. Few games really give you that. Most other games you have to sit there and waste clip after clip on inaccuracy.
