Ok, now most of you know I don't like ads on my site, and they generally come off when I get the chance to rip them down.

Right now, money is tight, I just got done paying for school and I still need to pay for the servers and the websites we own.

All money generated from ads will go into the forum, servers, and contests the forums hold.

If you see an ad that looks like something you want to look into, please click it and take a gander, it will help us a lot.

Sorry to have to do this, but GDR needs to make teh paymentz

dont look in GDR's pocket. if he want to pay blizzard let him do it. it's hes money.
he payed a lot of money for runing LN so if adds are necessary so we shoud clik. and from that i understand adds are just temporary.

You hit the nail on the head. I've had ads like 3x before, and I remove them each time once funds are sufficient.

You should put a vertical line of ads down the side of the page instead (if you can). It'd be less irritating than having to scroll that bit extra whenever you wanted to read a post - and you could fit more blocks of ads on the page.

Was gonna, but I decided irritation makes people want to not have ads and will click them so I hit my goal faster!

Either that or make us decide that if you're gonna try and irritate us, not to click them :p.

Then you can pay for the costs when the site goes down.

how about, whenever you go on to the site, the first thing they see is an add covering up everything, and then once you click it, you get sent to the Home menu.

How about just click on an ad? It's not that complicated.

yah, but many people don't like clicking on an ad, this way it forces them to click it.

Aramanon

Forcing people to click an ad is actually illegal too, lol. That's why those full-screen ads tend to have a "Skip" or "Close" button.

I'm not even allowed to tell you to click them, thats why I'm like hai2u if you like click.

And that would generally chase all of us out of this forum, lol.

You should put an ad right under the TeamSpeak section on the home page.

Good Idea, I'll put one there too.

Oh man, so many people complaining about the ads, if you are here...just click it. It really isn't that hard to shift+click the ads as you go. It isn't like you need to like, study them and be like hmmm, this is actually a good deal/scam, I just may give you my credit card number because you are so totally awesome.

No.

Shift-click? I think not, I'll use my nifty scroll button on the mouse to open them in new tabs. Then I'll use the same button to close the tabs without even looking at them once. Ftw.

I have a feeling some people may not know this, lol, but you can only click the ads once per day. >.>

GenDeathRaiser

Psh, I'm using the school's computer for this, I'm not filling up my computer with ad's and what not. So they don't have any fancy little mice there. Just the good ol shift+click.

I click anything. I don't care what it says. It's not about finding something I like, it's about getting GDR money.

GDRs first post is what i was reffering to. i know that clicking the ads give GDR money but as his post says the bolded part. so yeah maybe GDR can put like PC part links, or something like that if he can. since most of this forum is PC-based games. but like i said i would still click like emoticons and that GW 4 free link.

GDR doesn't choose the ad's, numb nuts. That's why I click anything.

Hehe, this is to easy and don't see what the big deal is. I don't mind ads at all, as long as they are not pop-ups.
