If you disagree with this system for whatever reason you're ignorant, you believe that at the cost of all the crimes this can solve, and even prevent, should be dropped so you can do something illegal.

Required this system isn't designed to catch speeders, it says right in the beginning that it downloads plates marked as stolen, uninsured, etc and then looks for matches.

Breech of privacy? License plates are required so normal people can look at them and report you. This camera just does that a lot faster.

??? we already have those all over the place in alberta.. DOnt you have red light cameras in the states? You run the light, they send you a ticket in the mail based on your license plate number.. Ours also detected speed for awhile.. but the public decided it was a gay cash grab.. and the cops scrapped the automatic ticket mailing for that feature.

We are at the point that they COULD put a camera every 20 kms on the road somewhere and catch every single speeder out there.. But what crime does that solve, and who does it protect.. its just a cash cow, why dont the cops go catch some rapists and murderers and quit playing traffic patrol.

Dude, if they start putting cameras in our homes or if there's a zombie outbreak, then I'd be scared. You gotta lay off of that crack. Then you won't have anything to worry about.
