OK, their re-releasing FF1-FF6(5/6 coming in this summer apparently)
its only a matter of time before FF7 comes out... anyone else agree?

They said they were, Or so I read in a game informer a few months back, But you never know what can happen.:eek:

They did? Wow, all i've seen is tech-demo's to show off PS3's potential. To be honest, now I'm kinda looking forward to FFXIII, the new battle system looks pwn.

Yeh, the old battle system kinda sucked but the gameplay is ownage.

Once Sony realizes how hard the PS3 sucks, they will do it.

FF7 is the only game that will save PS3. So i agree with Owen but didn't Sony say adminatly that they wouldn't remake FF7 at all even though there has been tons of speculation?

They announced a long long long time ago they were re-releasing FFVII. This is old news. It was slated for the PS2, but then they decided to push it onto the PS3 when they, Square-Enix, realized how soon the PS3 was coming out. This is the only reason I'm getting a PS3.
I'm hoping the talks between Square-Enix and Microsoft continue and that they do in fact jump ship and that in fact FFXIII is the last FF on a Sony platform.

Sony doesn't make FF Square Enix does. i hope they release em also for PC and add like a MP to it for the Psx-ps2 ones anyway but make it optional MP so you can play offline. cuz the ones that are out now for PC i think are mainly online only which kinda sucks for the ppl who love FF and dont really wanna play online since FF made it fame by offline gaming.
