please i have a problem connecting with Fs

well i have a little problem...i did all what the instructions sayd.first installed the client.then the patch after patching i launched Updater.exe to update the client...so it updated for a while until error box poped out what sayd:

Microsoft visual C++ Runtime Library
Runetime Error!
program:C:\program files\·çÉñÁ¶Óü\updater.exe

This application has reguested the runtime to terminate it in an usual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

i have re-installed game many times...this is how i install:
1)client:FengShen_Setup_1.1.exe
2)patch:FSPatch0913.exe
3)second patch:patch1[1].7.rar-data.
4)EnglishNpcInfo.rar

ok...i watched again the instructions how to install...client,patch,second patch,english patch,and then the updater. now i,m getting something new lol...if i press "yes".then like 10 sec l8r again that same error pops up!?!:( can any1 tell me whats the problem...what i did wrong? PS:sorry for triple post

ok i haven't played DE in some time so i'm going with what i read on this forum.
I think you have to download the 1.7 client and use a proxifier to play the game cause the underwater cables out or something. Before doing this double check I'm right cause as i said before I'm not 100% sure

actualy i downloaded Fs 1.1 client and then i patched it

either way it will still work... yeah alot of us had that problem just keep re-opening it until it fully updates after it updates d\l the 1.7 patch from this forum w\e it is and when you get that finished let it update and then get falen's eng patch after that it should be more non-chinese user friendly after putting the eng patch in there.

well anyway ppl can some1 recomend me somekind of other DE server(WHAT REALLY WORKS!?!)...I am so bored. IF some1 knows any DE server then Tell me please.

It took me like 2hours updating but since i was bussy at home i didn`t even notice how it updated... Don`t install the english patch or other stuff Just the game and the patches then when you can play install the english patch sounds or whatever you want.

if you get a some files already d\l'd it wont take as long but the update also depends on your ocnnection to the update server. so if you have a crappy connection it will take you awhile.

but just keep running it over and over if you get that runtime error or you can d\l the 1.7 and just run the game from the game folder and make a shortcut with that one which is what i did.

OH DEAR !!! w00t my updater is working and for anders yes I had the problems with runtime so i had to start the updater over again but that was on my old comp now i have a new one and i`m not sure will fs work for me but i`ll give it a try anyway and i`m still getting runtime errors btw but i just start it over a few times and it works fine.

umm i would just let it d\l overnight. but i think there is another thread with the faster link somewhere in the forum. only updates you would need would be the ones that came out after the 1.7 client came out.
