My Small Problem

Heeyooo Im Still Having Hope For DarkEden FS, I Havent Been On In Ages And Yes I Know, Alot of Simialr Related Threads And I Do Read em, But No Answeres

Ok...Well On My Updater, Thankfully All The Pages Load But ONE Thing Is Wrong Here...:eek: The Server List DOES NOT SHOW UP! :eek: Thats Means I Cant Select A Server I Want To Go On, I Uninstalled And Installed 4 Times, I Ran Chi.bat i ran eng.bat...i did everything so im guessing im missing something here, if ANYONE knows what it is please...heres a summary of what i need...

Anything thats approved of that brings up the server selection list on the Updater..wierd enough i have a document "ServerList.lst" But Eh, Seems Like Its Being A Noob, So Anyback Ups Would Be Nice :D Thanks For The Time~

umm... what version did you install 1.1 or 1.7?

cuz with 1.7 you have to run the dk2.exe from the game folder.
with 1.1 after it updated the one on the desktop still works.

oh and dont bother using the eng.bat cuz a few ppl are having problems with it.

I Have 1.7 I Installed All The Patches That Were Needed In The Installation Guide...Only Have The Sound Left but Thats Not Important, But Yea...1.7 ...i run it from the data folder...i get nothing :S So yeh, some help would be awsome~ thanks

if you have the eng.bat running, run chi.bat and it should work.

This is what happenes i alredy said >.< i alredy have chi.bat running it takes 2 seconds to execute right, and it can be anywhere in the Dark Eden Folder right? oki heres what my updater looks like >.>

Run Updater.exe from the FS folder in Program Files or wherever you put it.

Change folder name to any english name.i fix same problem just change chinese folder name to english and you need serverlist file

When i dont use the proxy i dont see the servers either. I bet its cause of that.

wow way to be wrong..

but i guess you havent read the thread that addressed this issue when 1.7 first came out.

running updater.exe from the folder WILL fix it if not try re-installing the 1.7 client and running the updater.exe from that it should work. getting the server list wont fix anything since its not from a file the shortcut that the game puts on the desktop has a bug, glitch, w\e you wanna call it. however running the updater.exe from the game file WILL work thats what i did and i had the same problem.

oh and the last time i played was like early last week. cuz the other 2 games that i play werent working or i couldnt get on. so i played FS.

try to change this file

Use a proxy for god damn sake which you have to be patient and find a very good one.

Then, you wont have all these problems at all.

u can get the server list w/o proxy? if it all u need is to change the proxy rule to this (only dk2.exe file) and look for a HTTP proxy.. im not getting lag with HTTP .. they are good for play

Since we are talking about "Small Problems" the updater isint updating for me i turn it pess the middle button to check files and it doesn`t download anything... :(
