After making the mistake myself, I'd advise to never buy Gigabyte mobos, especially for an Athlon 64. You'll find it doesn't even support some of the most basic Athlon 64 features, such as the cool'n'quiet power-saving system that AMD uses.
And while that LED looks nice, it'd be distracting as hell in the middle of a game, lol. If you want LED, you need something that doesn't flash, just stays steady.

Ill take your recommendation on not getting a gigabyte mother board but the lights wont be a distraction, because my tower is by my feet, because my desk is designed like that, so i like the case but a different motherboard will be in question. Any more tips?

Im poor so i dont feel like buying vista. Plus the copy of XP i have came with my computers hard drive, so the backup discs only work with the motherboard. So im fuqqed if i plan on installing XP on a different hard drive unless its IDE.

haha $400 dollar case, I got mine for like $40-$60 bucks!
I suggest at just taking a look at different places like alienware to see the stuff they put into the best computers they make then try to find it in Real life for cheaper(note harder then it sounds I know).
Like I found this computer store that has things for pretty cheap I bought everything from that store except the Vid. card which I got from circuit city which is the best thing out right now and it only cost me about 1000 something cause I had to rebuy a cd drive-_-.
any way enough rambling out of me!

you people are stupid, I agree with stfu patrol, there is nothing wrong with ATI your an idiot if you think there is. Also read it, its an fx60 (fastest socket 939 cpu available), motherboard, case, power supply, heatsink. Thats an amazing deal for $400 considering I spent $1000 for my fx60 when it first came out...
O and it sounds like you are just going to put your harddrive that already has windows installed on it into this computer. Thats not going to work. If it even tries to boot into windows it will just blue screen and restart. You will at a minimum need to run the windows repair, but really you should do a clean install considering you are changing all the parts, which either way you will need a windows cd, and not the restore cd's you have. If a friend has a windows cd you can use the key that is on your current computer and their cd.

It makes no sense to 'hate' certain companies. Right now Intels core 2 duo is the fastest cpu available, and when ATI's next GPU is released its supposed to be faster than nvidias 8800's. I personally have an fx60 and 2 7900gtx's in sli, but thats only because when I bought them they were the fastest available.
