Gdr, what the fuck? I was told by multiple people you perm banned taliban. I figured "Hey, maybe he has more than one account!"
Turns out he doesn't. I checked the steam ids posted to the one he is using atm,

yeah, steam changed it, it's only a temp ban, even if you select to perma ban.

Taliban comes back almost daily. And no, you CAN perma ban. "Up In Smoke!" server does it all the time.

Then its probably a good idea to keep a list of those that frequently cause trouble so they can be added to the list after the clean up.

Oh no she was banned alright. It's a complicated reason and you should just ask GDR for the reason.

Wtf owen? Why in the hell would you ever clean a perm ban list? that's just retarted. also, i was told taliban was banned permantley, and he came back like 3 days later. Does gdr clear the perm list daily?

You clean out the list for a couple reasons. One, that list can grow quite large, two...when people see they are banned...try to come back two hours or so later, and see they are still banned, they believe they've been perma-banned. So therefore, if they are banned long enough, then their steam ID is removed from the list, they more then likely will NOT come back, taking the server off their list.

Clearing out the list doesn't make sense to me either. If they really want to come back then they can come to the forums and maybe get a 2nd chance. If they don't come and post about being banned then they don't want to play on the LN server. Its not like we need more people, the server almost always has people on it.
