well from what ive read Obama is more concerned about the Younger voting population in america, focusing on lowering student loans coming out of college and stuff like that. Hilary is another "old" president and will make alot of decisions that will parallel bush's decisions (social security, welfare, healthcare, stuff like that), even though they are from different parties. Both of them are against the troop increase in Iraq and generally disapprove of the War in Iraq.

It's a simple fact that a republican will not see the Oval Office for quite sometime because of Bush's actions, Democrats will be in control of that for years to come, unless we elect someone that blows that apart. Barak is barely holding on, he lacks the overall funding to launch a country wide campaign and isn't extremely popular past the east coast. Hilary, no lie, I would like to see her in because I think she could handle this. She can be totally incompetant at times, yes, but at the same time...her husband was there. She knows how things can be done in order to put the country on the right track, if things go haywire...he is right there to lend her a helping hand. That doesn't get anymore convinent then that. In all honesty, for some reason I doubt either one will be elected though. This country overall is not prepared for a president that is not of white male descent. Many of us on these forums are prepared for that, but the majority of people still find those that are not white male to be the inferior.

i agree but at the sametime there are people who get away with it also. why do you think they call it "hit and run" sometimes those runners dont stop an get away with it simply because criminals have this logic that if they escape the cops long enough they they wont get caught. i know this because i used to intern for a police station and talked to a hit and runner that was going to court for 2 counts of vehicular manslaughter and count of murder. btw this was back in 2001 around summer time.

Bill did mess up a lot of things, but he focused more internally, putting the country back on the right track. Looking at it from an economics stand point, he did far greater then most presidents did. He wasn't impeached, that never went through...people wanted it, but it never happened. Apart from the whole Watergate scandal, Nixon wasn't a half-bad president. Even so, their are more presidents which can claim the worst more easily. Jimmy Carter, for example, is an example of a bad president chronologically near Nixon.

For instance only base near me is Travis AFB which is closer to Southern Cali than Northern Cali. if you look at a map of all the bases before they were closed you would see that the bases were put in strategic places to provide adequate protection of war should land on US soil or near it. now i might as well move to Europe or China i'd be safer there rather here in Cali.
