Need someone with SD card knowledge

Yar, so like I have an SD card, primarily for my PDA, now all of a sudden it doesn't work.

It's a San Disk Ultra II 1.0GB card, I've had it for like 2 or so years. The PDA no longer recognizes it, and when I put it in my computer it says I need to format it, but when I click "Okay" it says I can't format it, wtfz.

Format the card in your computer 1st.
Go to my computer>removable disk>right click>format.

Then format it in your PDA.

It should work or either your SD card isnt compatible at all.
