heh, this might sound dumb, but i had someone from work come over today to get some songs copied for his my3 layer, and i was wondering, how do i do it?
i tried put the songs on my computer, and playing them, worked perfectly, then when i tried to put them on his CELL phone, it wouldnt work, i dragged and dropped them in the folder that comes up when u plus the phone into your computer, and dragged and dropped them into the folder, but it wasnt going on his phone, so i renamed them all with .mp3 at the end, and tried again, they got on his phone, but, when he tried to play it, it said it was corrupt, all of the songs where, we dont know what to do.

What handphone model you're using?
And some phones, you do need to convert to a certaion format to play them on your handphone.

Motorola right? Ok for your Motorola model, does it have an external memory card?
In this case Mini SD's.

If your Motorola phone had an in-built memory, then you need to use the Motorola Media Manager that should be provided in your Motorola package, or just download it from the motorola site.

For external memory card users, you must put to the CORRECT music folder.
Doesnt mean it shows a music folder, the songs have to be there.
My old phone Rokr E-smth, I dragged the songs into a folder called MNV something, lol forgotten.
