Game wont start

Ok i downloaded the client let it install, got my account done. When i go to the site i put in my user name and password and login, takes a minute but it works. After that i click game start and it puts an active x thing at top of page (which i already downloaded first time i loaded page up) and when i go to download it it goes to white page pointing towards the yellow bar, i try again, on bottom says "Errors on page" (bottom left corner) and then brings me back to game start screen. Anyone know the prob or have had it? and know the solution.:eek:

Keep installing the active X and keep trying to click the start game button. Have you recently installed any english patch's?

well...i alrdy establiched that i got it to work, im saying when i click game start it goes to the updater and it gives me that error, which is in a couple posts above.

edit: ive tried completely deleted the game and all files then re-installing it on my comp, re-applying the english patch and its still not working.

make sure windows is not blocking the installation of the active X and then try reinstalling and running without english patch first.

Ok well, thank you innocence that worked. but yet again I stumbled onto another problem. Even though the game is starting now the english patch will not work. I did all the up dates, started the game and played a couple minutes, then I closed the game and used the english patch, yet when I get into the game the game is still in japo, can anyone help me with this one?

Don't know if it makes a difference but im using an account that i made a few months or so ago, (decided to play the game again).

right now, the npc scripts/string or whatever for all the english patches out there do not work. The game was updated with a new option on one of the NPC's which threw the whole NPC file thing off. Other than that the other files in the patch should work. But keep in mind not all english patches translate every last thing..most I've seen just do enough to let you know what you are looking at.

So you advised him to use proxy which nobody ever needed for DE.jp, or to pm players, that never played DE.jp (am I right?), so they probably know nothing about the problems related to installing and running DE.jp? Good job!
