is there any program that can turn 10seconds of a video clip into a GIF animated image?
and if there is one, is it possible to edit the size? as in say u only want "part" of the video

Use ImageReady from Photoshop.
Its pretty much the same as animations in GIF images just that its a whole more lots of layers.
Therea are many tutorials out there, but its very confusing to me. :(

The whole Photoshop concept it confusing to me.
All I can do is crop, add text, and blur.

the thing is i dunno how to use ImageReady, but i hav it tho, i got whole CS2 set

this is a long method for breaking up a video clip into an animated gif.
1. import your video into macromedia flash
2. Export as an animated gif
this'll take a full days work:p
