So who went and saw this movie? I know I did and it was a really awesome movie, I just wish there was more Venom in it. I mean come on, he is the most bad ass villian.

Yeah, saw the midnight showing. It was pretty good.

Like Squirrelly said though, Venom needed to be in it more but more then likely, if they do Spider-man 4 he'll come back as Carnage.

But yeah, there was only like a total of 10-15 minutes of Venom action. Oh well. Was still good.

Stop- stop right now. For the sake of comic geeks everywhere, if you say anything like that again, I will find you, and I will rape you while force-feeding you every printed issue of The Amazing Spiderman and all other spinoffs of the series.

ROFL, The Amazing Spiderman is not the original.

In order to do Carnage...yeah well, that isn't happening. Far to many crossovers and far to much story. They havn't done a single Captain America movie, so that is going to be a hard one to pull off.

The director has been noted to say though, he really wants to do the whole Carnage series...but I think movie goers would be far to confused in the end.

Yeah but it's my favorite. I think the only way to do a good Carnage movie would be the whole history of Cletus Kasady- with all the dog-torture and wife-beatin'. But yeah- there are waaaaay too many crossovers to make Carnage into a full-fledged movie villain- he'd have to be a cameo or support character at most. Most people who didn't read the comics wouldn't know what the fuck was going on.

300 was a manly man's movie. Spider-man was not specifically made for men with balls.

Best Movie so far this year imo.
I haven't seen 300, incase anyone feels the need to argue

Amen. 300 was excellent. Spider-man 3 was OK (I'd give it a 6.5/10) as in worth seeing, but nothing fantastic. I think that if they left out the entire Sandman plot line and focused more on Venom, they would've made a better movie.

Really though. Venom was way too humane/tiny. He didn't even have a giant tongue.:( It's sad that they didn't even mention his name in the movie. PM for spoilers to Spider-Man 4 if you want them.

Any "spoilers" you have is mere speculation. What do you have, that Dr. Connor is going to become Lizard? Heads up! That wait wait, Sandman will more then likely return to SAVE Spider-man in this moment of near death?!

Well, 2 of the main villians have been confirmed, so it's not mere speculation. I just didn't want to be an asshole and ruin it for anybody that didn't want to know.

And where are you getting this information from? The movie has barely even been confirmed yet.

Well, it was confirmed on the FAQ for the imdb of Spider-Man 4, but it's been removed

I probably shouldn't be saying confirmed, as it isn't 100%, but it would be great to see Carnage and the Lizard.

Spiderman 4 would be amazing if and ONLY if...

Vin Diesel played Kraven the Hunter. 'nuff said.

"According" is the key thing here. The director has also been noted to say he WANTS to do Carnage many times. But will they do it is a whole different story. Do you have ANY idea how hard it is to do the Carnage story with how many crossovers they have? Fan boys everywhere will be wanting to kill them if they even attempt and fail at having a single crossover. They need at least Captain America and they have yet to introduce a movie for him.

We all want to see Carnage, can they do it is a whole different story.

Totally agree- if they put Carnage in, it'll be just like it was with Venom- cool that he's in the movie and you can see him in movie-form, but at the same time it sucks because you don't really get the WHOLE story. I think Carnage would look great if they did it right though.

But like I said..... Vin Diesel... as Kraven the Hunter.... that's all you need. Spiderman 4 would get a fucking oscar.

It'd be pretty hard to make an R rated Spider-Man, so I'd say Carnage may suck big time here. He's know for being sadistic and murdering so many people, I hope they don't ruin him like they did with Venom.

That was a little ridiculous.

Movies will own comic book storylines if it means having to fit in certain characters to make the movie better. It wouldn't exactly be hard to make a movie where Carnage is the main villian and Venom and Spiderman have to team up to own his face because he's ripping everybodies balls off.

i saw spiderman 3 didnt really like it cuz it strayed off from the original spiderman storyline. mary jane should of died already but since hollywood likes to change the original awesome storyline to make it "better".

i hope there isnt a spiderman 4 its starting to become a friday the 13th/ halloween series again.

It sucked. The only redeeming part was the novelty of seeing Venom in a live-action movie, and he had, what, 15 minutes of screen time?

So, it took you up to the third Spider-Man to realize they were straying from the original storyline?

Can you honestly name a movie that has ever stayed completely on track with the comic book (I'm pretty sure Phoenix/Jean does not get killed)? Do you realize how ridiculous the storylines in comic books get? I'm sorry, but I am pretty sure the entire Carnage storyline would take several movies to really flesh out completely and do it justice. Go make your own movie in your basement if you want it to be exact.
