God I feel small.
Which is why it's a near impossibility that life doesn't exist in some form on other planets. Of course, life doesn't need to be life as we know it. Indeed, finding other life would most likely change the way we define life. Every lifeform on this planet has DNA and uses similar biological mechanisms that have evolved over millions of years (the use of ATP is universal), but that doesn't mean it's exactly the same for other life in the universe.
Anyway, I've seen that and similar short flicks before, but the universe is still amazing. After seeing that, anybody who doesn't believe there's life elsewhere in the universe should be cockslapped.

I agree Zim. There has to be something out there somewhere other than us. Dumb or smart.
Great find Owen.
Yeah- kudos Owen.
People hardly think about space and how absurdly vast it really is- and the worst part, the saddest part, is that most people go their whole lives without seeing that much. It kind of sucks for us to know that we won't see much farther out there in our lifetimes.

NASA is sending a probe to one of Jupiter's moons that will manually drill into the massive ice caps discovered on the planet to explore the possibility of life in the water under the ice caps. Although this mission is a probability, it won't actually happen for another 40 years, which puts the actual timeframe for exploration OUTSIDE or our own freakin' collection of planets into perspective. The only way I see us discovering extraterrestrial life would be if it ran into our planet accidentially such as a meteor or god knows what else. Just my two cents.
Yeah- kudos Owen.

Well, many people are selfish enough to believe that the universe is all for the human race. Humans love the grandiose.

It truly is amazing isnt it ?
I agree that anyone who thinks other life doesnt exist is stupid. Plants are considered life.. there has to be at least 1 fucking other lifeform.
Too bad we'll all be dead by the time we even get to another galaxy. :"(
